Dermoelectroporation® allows the absorption of large molecular size drugs (even with a molecular weight such as Hyaluronic Acid 1,700.000dalton) into the skin in about 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the area and the individual patient's skin. The procedure temporarily lowers the patient’s skin impedance and allows for transdermal drug delivery in a homogeneous way over the whole treatment area.
Transderm® does not cause any bruising or downtime, a common side effect linked to conventional meso-therapy.
Transderm® can be used to deliver drugs, growth factors, active ingredients, collagen and vitamins into the skin without causing physical damage to the skin and in a very controlled and precise manner.

  • Transderm® can be applied on the face, neck and chest where collagen and elastin, antioxidants, growth factors and Botox® is usually injected. The substances used for anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation are: Hyaluronic Acid, Amino Acids, Collagen, Elastine, Glutathione, MTE-4 (Copper Manganese-Zinc Sulphate-Chromium), Lidocaine, growth factors.

        

  • Transderm can also be used on larger areas such as thighs, stomach and buttocks for cellulite reduction and the treatment of stubborn fat deposits, these areas would require hundreds of injections with conventional mesotherapy. The active fat-burning substances are: Phosphatidylcoline, Aminophylline, L-Carnitine, Vitamins.

 How does Transderm work?

Prior to Transderm® a superficial microdermbarsion is carried out in order to reduce skin resistance and increase the permeability of the skin.

Step1 - Microdermabrasion

Ultrapeel® Microdermabrasion is controlled exfoliation of the stratum corneum through a pre-sterilized jet of corundum crystals. The controlled abrasion and the sterility of the treatment causes virtually no irritation to the skin and no change in skin PH. The microdermabrasion standardizes the skin characteristics for reproducible drug delivery rate.


Step 2 – Transdermal Delivery

Ultrapeel® Transderm® Meso® System works as a pulsed Ionthophoresis (low currents from 1 to 5 mA as the medical devices rules require) The Ultrapeel®Transderm® Meso System uses particular electrical pulses synchronized with a vibration massage that increases the skin permeability to allow the drug delivery. The active substances are applied on the skin where gentle massage with the Transderm® meso-system facilitates easy penetration and absorption of the active substances into the dermis. The whole procedure takes about 45min and is very enjoyable.
